Course Description:

As a result of strong trade, low inflation and supportive fiscal policies in key countries, 2017 saw the global economy enjoy a strong, broad-based recovery. Some of the world’s largest economies experienced a steady upswing in economic momentum and Q3 of 2017 marked the strongest growth in nearly four years. However, the OECD and other experts have pointed out that many of the longer term supply side issues that have plagued the world economy in the current decade remain to be solved. In addition, the recent improvements in global growth remain unevenly distributed across geographic regions of the world. As we turn our attention to the outlook for economic activity in 2018, business leaders will be asking whether world economies can maintain their strong growth rate over the next 12 months.

Join this webinar to learn what experts from global investment banks, an independent financial services company and a dedicated investment and advisory company for the Latin American region are saying about growth on a global scale as well as in the Latin American region, and listen to them share their outlook for the 2018 economy, with particular focus on insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring. The discussion will conclude with a brief question and answer session.
