Chris has been a leading practitioner and pioneer in the field of professional firm business management for over 17 years. His work with clients focuses on assisting them to adapt, evolve and meet the challenge of the new legal and professional services world. He is a founding Executive Director at consultancy Kingsmead Square, advisors on the swift, successful execution of business plans and transformation of operational and financial performance. 

Within the legal services sector, Chris is closely identified with the accelerating transformation of the market and the implementation of new business models, advising on innovative transformation programmes, outsourcing and shared service strategies as well as on the creation of a string of high profile new entrant Alternative Business Structures (ABS) in the UK market. 

His appointment as Chief Executive of UK lawyers Osborne Clarke in 2000 was in the first wave of business professionals hired into law firm leadership roles. In his subsequent global management role at professional service outsourcing firm Integreon, he was one of the architects of their rapid rise to market leadership in the legal outsourcing space. As a member of one of the legal market's best known strategy consultancies, Edge International, he worked with clients in the UK, US and Europe. Chris has previously worked in blue chip leading consulting, accounting and financial services organisations (PriceWaterhouse, Ernst & Young and NatWest Bank).

One of the busiest speakers and writers on law firm operational management, Chris is a regular keynote speaker, chair and panellist at conferences in Europe and the US. He has been a regular guest tutor at Nottingham Law School’s innovative legal MBA programme and an active member of a number of advisory boards.
