Colin Zick’s practice is focused on health care and compliance issues, and often involves the intersection of those two subjects in administrative proceedings or litigation. His work has had a particular emphasis on compliance issues related to pharmaceutical and medical device companies, hospitals, practitioners and provider organizations. This compliance work includes helping clients establish and maintain effective compliance programs. Joao Marcelo Santos is the former Superintendent of the Private Insurance Superintendence - SUSEP. He is a member of the International Association of Insurance Law (Internacional de Direito do Seguro - AIDA) and President of the High Counsel of the National Academy of Insurance and Social Security Academics (Egrégo Conselho de Acadêmicos da Academia Nacional de Seguros e Previdência - ANSP).  He is the author of several articles on tax law, insurance and reinsurance, and is also a professor in several post-graduation courses. The survey with clients made by Chambers Latin America 2010 says Mr. Máximo has “thorough knowledge of the area and one of the architects of many of Brazil’s new insurance laws.”  He was also nominated as "leading lawyer in his field" by Who'sWhoLegal 2009.
